We are a full scale Art Gallery and this Hewlett Packard Wide Format HP 7585b Drafting Pen Plotter is a well known Art Producing piece of Machinery.Dubbed HP's "Movie Star" playing a role in the 1986 Movie "Flight Of The Navigator",for this reason this Plotter gets a spot in the HP Computer Museum.The fact of its positioning into the museum makes this Plotter a Collectors item hands down.When viewing others found we found most showed the "error" light bright along with other lights visible once turned on,or in most cases they did not even turn on at all.We are not Professionals in the field of Printers/Plotters and collected this Plotter Only due to is Role in HP History so as far as Fully-Tested using paper or ink we have not done.We simply don't know how to use this lovely piece of equipment it has been safe stored for many years,three things are apparent it does power on,movement is instant and the error light is not bright.We are assuming that you will note its powered on working condition and read our in depth description Please bid accordingly.Once again we are not professionals in this field and have been unable to Fully Test please keep this in mind before placing your bid.While I’m confident in its operating condition i'm pricing it to sell and for parts or not functioning because it has to leave and can’t come back due to typical abusing by some ebayers.There are some backside scratches and rubber rub off from previous travel or storage we were able to scrub away most of it.Pictures of the top of the control panel shows faintly this is the same rub off near the backside power panel it is not burn,close ups will show indeed rubber it will come off just with scrubbing power.What a great Plotter to either add to the workshop or add to your collection of cool rarities this is not your average Wide Format Drafting Plotter it was first introduced in 1982 The HP 7585B plotter is a 36" wide format pen plotter with a 8-pen carousel.Measurements are as follows W- 54" x H- 47 1/2" L- 12 1/2" This is a LOCAL PICK UP ONLY offer you will need two people to load this Plotter for travel will be received as shown Pick-Up location is in Lawrenceville GA.If you would view our entire store it would mean the world to us we have much to offer the ebay collector world...P.S Once again as stated in condition description Used Does Power On With Function Un-Tested "Line" Light Is Bright Green And "Chart Unload" Light Is Green Also Error Light Is Not Bright.According To The Panels Reading This Plotter Is Functional load ready,Has Been Un Used For Many Years Most Likely Will Need Ink.Also as a reminder there is instant action once turned on,another good factor to keep in mind is the "error" light not showing bright,this is also a "collectors item" and not your average HP Plotter Thanks For Your Consideration....
