Korsteel 18-8 Stainless Steel Corkscrew Full Cheek 5 Inch Snaffle Bit
This is a full cheek bit which has extensions above and below the mouthpiece to assist in lateral control and direction as well as to help prevent the bit ring from being pulled through the horse's mouth.  The 5 inch long x 1/2 inch diameter mouthpiece on this bit is a twisted corkscrew, with smooth ridges.  This bit weighs in at 12 ounces.  This texture makes it a little more severe than a standard smooth snaffle but less severe than a traditional twisted wire mouthpiece.  "Korsteel" and 18-8 (the type of Stainless Steel) is marked on the right cheek.
This bit is used but is in excellent condition with some marks from normal use.
