Victorian Antique Brides Bowl Ruby Overlay White Lined Decorated

Description

What a beautiful Brides Basket Bowl this is.  The color is a Ruby Overlay, dark color fading to pink.  It has a white lined interior with floral decoration.  The bowl is 10 1/2" in diameter and 4 1/2" tall.  The base diameter is 4".  It is ruffled and four sides are pinched inward.  The bowl is in excellent condition.  The maker is not known but believed to be European from the Victorian era ca. 1890's.  The beautiful hand painted decoration is that of either Cherries or Plums.   It is good quality and rings nicely when lightly tapped.  The pontil is ground.  It's in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and it has no mineral deposits or stains.  There are felt pads affixed to the bottom as found.  See Photo.  Any unusual light or dark spots shown in the photos are from camera glare.  This will make a great functional accessory to any Victorian home.   56872144
