Vintage US Steel Advertising Glass Beer Pitcher w/Chemistry Symbols -Golf Course

THIS ITEM:
This advertising pitcher is for the United States Steel Company's agricultural division called Vertagreen which produced lawn care products such as fertilizer and herbicids. The pitcher has the chemistry symbols for the key elements needed for healthy plant growth like magnesium, nitrogen, copper, vanadium, chromium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, iron, etc.
Doubtful that these pitchers were sold as a retail item, but more likely used as promotional item, possibly in golf course country club restaurants and bars.
As best I can determine, Vertagreen hosted seminars for golf course superintendents and groundskeepers to promote the sales of their product and how to use the product. A luncheon or evening banquet was included and of course, the beer or beverages were served in the Vertagreen pitchers.
Regardless, it appears that these pitchers were not produced in any type of abundance and are quite rare.  This is an eclectic addtion to any collection.
